Updated: 1/3/2007 Drumlin Farm LOCATION The farm is in Orange County, about 50 miles northwest of the George Washington Bridge. It is 5 miles west of Warwick Village, between Edenville and Pine Island. The local area is mostly permanent farmland and hills. There are several newer developments and numerous older homes. It is in the Town of Warwick and in the Warwick School District.
DESCRIPTION The main property is high ground with a magnificent view. There are two streams, no buildings, 60 acres of excellent cropland, 25 acres of woods and a separate 35 acre pasture. The land was a dairy farm and is primarily high and rolling, with lovely views, fields, and stone walls. Tax map #s: 12-5-5.322 and 12-5-5.326. The larger lot has engineering and a building permit in place for a single home. The smaller lot could be further subdivided.
DIRECTIONS From Warwick, take County One 5 miles west and then a right fork on Little York Road. That intersection has a sign pointing to Warwick Valley Winery. One half mile down, past an intersection and after #50, there is a wire farm gate on the right. Drive through the gate, up the gravel road to the top of the hill onto the 85 acre portion of the farm.
